Tagaru Kannada movie review
A couple of young rowdies who are starting to resent the godfather who brought them into the business, several rowdies hacked , shot to death, and a woman who’s been kidnapped but doesn’t seem to mind it all that much. what does Shivarajkumar have to do with it?
What, however, makes Tagaru’s rather tame, time-tested trite tale a talking point, is Suri once again adopts neo-noir, non-linear narrative style to present his pulsating, pulse pounding plot, which flits forwards and backwards, to make it delectably different despite being formulaic.
This film's hero name as Shiva is an Asistent commissioner officer, who is popularly known as Tagaru Shiva, an encounter specialist who uses intelligence and power to eliminate wrongdoers. His idea of Swacch Bharat is to clean the city of rowdies such as Daali (Dhananjay), Chitte (Vasishta Simha), Cockroach (Sudhir) and Baby Krishna (Devanatha), who are led by uncle (Sachu). Hero Tagaru race to destroy them, faces many obstacles and downfalls, even losing people close to him, but he adamantly stays the course.
Heroine name as Punaruasu in this film, acted by Manvitha is very lively and naughty in her performance. Beauiful looking Bhavana has shown her expertise in a short and sweet role. Kannada one more star actor Devaraj acted in this film. But he has nothing special; Dhananjay is pinch hitter in villain role. Dananjay performance was very well.He has also hero but in this film he choose a very different negative roll. Vasishta N Simha is OK.
Mahendra Sinha cinematography set mostly in the dark atmosphere is very apt because content of the director are like that. It is an immaculate match of lighting.
The film employs a nonlinear narrative with the fate of the three criminals: Dolly, Chitte and Cockroach revealed early in the film.
Suri directed Tagaru is a spicy blood pudding. This film is not the best advertisement for those who have not tried the dish so far.
